Job Title: Temporary Inspector

Duration: 06-09 Months contract

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89102

Pay Rate: $17-19/hr on W2 without any benefits.

Job Description :

• Organize requests for inspections and schedule inspections to be performed
• Perform installation inspections; perform inspections on permitted work for Manufactured Homes, Commercial Coaches and other structures that fall within the Division’s jurisdiction;
• Compare finished work with original design plans; note code violations and corrections for compliance; complete all necessary paperwork as required; update all systems as required; perform analysis of inspection activities and compile associated metrics; follow all policies, procedures and standards.
• Assist Division investigative staff with onsite inspections related to investigations
• Perform job site Plan reviews for solar permit inspections; review drawings for compliance with adopted codes and H.U.D. standards; Organize and distribute compliance labels; maintain accurate information in data base;
• Perform or assist in the ongoing training of licensees, constituents, and the public on Code related activities in daily interchange.
