Responsibilities
Owner & Resident Relations:
- Serve as the primary contact for property owners, asset managers, and business partners to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders across projects.
- Address resident concerns and foster a positive living environment.
- Collaborate with internal departments (compliance, leasing, accounting, etc.).
Building Operations:
- Oversee daily property operations and address resident and client concerns.
- Ensure timely maintenance of building systems and compliance with audits and inspections.
- Manage vendor contracts, including bidding, awarding, and performance monitoring.
- Respond to building emergencies and oversee apartment and capital improvement projects.
Administrative & Financial Functions:
- Assist in preparing operating budgets and financial forecasts.
- Generate reports (variance, utility consumption, etc.) and analyze financial patterns.
- Process invoices and manage vendor records while ensuring insurance compliance.
Supervisory Functions:
- Direct and schedule staff, set goals, and ensure policy compliance.
- Supervise contractors and ensure work aligns with contracts and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or finance, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of NYC rent-regulated residential property management experience.
- Experience with high-end properties and LIHTC units.
- Knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; Revenue Management experience preferred.
- NY Real Estate License or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in NYC rental market regulations and facilities operating systems.
