Fire Technician

13+ Month Contract

Job Description:

-State of Ohio License required. NICET is a plus.

-Geographical footprint is up to 2 hours from home office.

-Driving to site locations in personal vehicle.

-Will be driving 3-4 site locations a day (2 hours per call).

-Commercial experience preferred.

-8:00AM to 4:30PM typically. Sometimes overtime will be required. Depends on the demands of the customer.

-Emergency on-call for 2 days a week. This will be an 8–10-week rotation.

-Electronics background or electrical engineering education.

-Certified tech with Client or SimplexGrinnell programs is a plus.

-Low voltage certifications are a plus.

-Candidate will need some experience with fire tech. Nobody new to the industry. At least 18 months of experience.

-Basic knowledge with low voltage tools.

-Service experience and troubleshooting experience required.

-Wire runs/pulls are minimal. Most of the job requires troubleshooting.

-Modification programming will be part of the job.

-Attendance is very important. (#1 priority)
