About this Role:
Department: Marketing, Partnerships, and Social
Contract Type: full-time for at least 3 months, preferred 6 months
Schedule: Hybrid schedule - 3 days/week in office @ Century City office.
Compensation: $20/hr (USD)
Responsibilities:
- Support 360 marketing strategies, and assist in digital and offline marketing initiatives from ideation, planning, execution to reporting
- Identify relevant influencers and own the outreach and call scheduling process
- Proactively liaise and communicate with existing influencers, track KOLs partnership timely and maintain long-term relationships
- Assist in the brainstorming, creation, and proofing of marketing deliverables including video, stills, banners that resonates with the BIGO brand
- Draft and develop internal and external communications, copywriting and briefs for the marketing campaigns
- Perform market analysis and research on competition, identify social trends, brainstorm campaign ideas and create content calendars to promote BIGO and build strong social following
- Track and analyze key metrics to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Create periodical reports, campaign presentations, meeting notes and other administrative tasks as needed
- Acting as a strong liaison between US team and HQ and comfortable with working across different time zones
Qualifications:
- Junior/Senior year student enrolled in a college and pursuing a major in marketing, communications, business, or other relevant studies
- Applied understanding of marketing knowledge and familiarity with digital channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Ads etc.)
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Well versed in the latest trends in pop culture, entertainment and social
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior industry experience is preferred
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Efficient, multitasking and desire to work in a fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
- Photography, video editing and graphic design skills are a plus
- Full of creativity and able to think out of the box
