Videographer

In-Studio Position - Phoenix, AZ | Moderate to High Travel

About the Role:

As a Videographer at Offensive Marketing Group (OMG), you will be responsible for producing high-quality video and occasional photo content for OMG and its clients. This is an in-person role based at our studio in Phoenix, AZ and requires moderate to high travel, with all travel expenses covered by OMG.

Requirements:

Proficiency in:

• Adobe Suite
• DaVinci Resolve
• Canon R series, Sony A7, FX series and RED Cinema Cameras
• Cinema lenses and workflows
• DIT (footage management)
• Product and interview lighting setups
• Camera support equipment (dollies, gimbals, jibs, wireless follow focus)
• Film set terminology and etiquette
• Shot composition, storyboarding, and shot lists
• Gear preparation, cleaning, and maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, produce, and deliver engaging content across mediums, including video, photography, motion graphics, and light graphic design.
• Plan and execute shoots that authentically capture each client’s brand identity.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment while directing talent in studio and on location.
• Edit video content tailored to diverse platforms and formats, ensuring polished results.
• Collaborate with the Producer on location needs, shoot planning, and scouting.
• Organize and maintain a digital footage archive.
• Propose creative concepts to the team and advise on equipment purchases.
• Ensure all content adheres to OMG’s brand standards and guidelines.
• Maintain and manage production equipment and the OMG studio/warehouse, ensuring the space is organized, clean, and secure.
• Work with the social media team to inventory and maintain client products stored at the studio.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content during productions.
• Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and storytelling techniques.
• Coordinate field productions with attention to camera, audio, and lighting needs.
• Engage with clients professionally to flesh out video concepts and manage production budgets.
• Collaborate with the Producer, editing team, and leadership to align on creative direction and project goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• A masterful eye for shot composition and storytelling.
• Strong technical skills in video production and post-production.
• The ability to multitask and manage projects with precision and creativity.
• A proactive approach to solving challenges in fast-paced environments.
• A passion for crafting thoughtful, compelling brand and product stories.
• This role will have a heavy emphasis on video but will also require photography from time to time.
