Judson Group has partnered with a successful fee-only financial planning and investment firm located in The Woodlands, TX in the search for a Portfolio Manager - Wealth Management . This individual will be creating and managing investment portfolios for clients. Responsibilities will include crafting investment packages, managing client expectations, and transactions, and achieving clients’ overall investment objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced portfolio manager who works efficiently and effectively in a collaborative and demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining new and existing client relationships, including informing clients of market conditions, updating them on investment research and economic trends, and meeting with them to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives.
- Generating an investment policy statement, outlining clients’ investment objectives.
- Constructing successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends.
- Determining acceptable client risk levels based on periods, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions.
- Evaluating the performance of investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with standards provided by regulatory organizations, including conformance with investor disclosures, privacy laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and anti-fraud measures.
- Buying and selling securities in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy, or to reach an investment objective.
- Staying current with relevant investment and trading news and economic trends.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree.
- CFA highly desired.
- 10+ years of portfolio management experience.
- Strong understanding of capital markets.
- Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
