Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
• Provide technical tax advice and guidance to clients and team members.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Review and analyze tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements.
• Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Train and mentor junior tax staff, providing support for their professional development.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and best practices.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and legal teams to ensure comprehensive tax strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA
• 4+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
