Highlights

  • This is a contract based position, eligible for this tier of benefits.
  • This role will work a hybrid schedule, ideally coming into our Corporate office in downtown Augusta, GA 1-2 days/week.


Summary/Objective

This position will have an active role in maintaining financial records, financial reporting, budget preparation and income/expense variance analysis.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial expenses and revenues versus budget and prior year for assigned cost centers.
  • Provide financial recommendations to P&L owners to drive business results.
  • Support, review, and audit assigned cost centers for accurate month end financial statements, including making adjusting journal entries as applicable
  • Assist the Business Development team in creating pricing models for multimillion-dollar client proposals.
  • Track financial interactions with customers, employees, and temporary staff and review trends with management.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and input to the general ledger.
  • Maintain reporting systems to collect and generate relevant financial information.
  • Assist in preparation of annual financial information to be provided to external auditors.
  • Create Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reporting Packages.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial data for Division Managers and Senior Management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
  • Participate in finance and cross functional improvement initiatives.
  • Drive and implement strategic initiatives set by Senior Management.


Other duties may include:

  • Assist in financial planning and capital investments.
  • Prepare cash forecast for use in future cash planning related to acquisitions and distributions.
  • Assist in evaluating acquisition proposals.
  • Monitor fixed assets and monthly depreciation.
  • Manage the procurement activities for MAU and create alignment with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
  • 4+ years' of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong quantitative financial skills
