The FP&A Associate Director will report to the VP of Finance and will be a key leader within the FP&A team. The Associate Director, FP&A, will spearhead the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis projects, collaborating with cross-functional leaders throughout the organization. This role is crucial for the company’s financial health and strategic planning, focusing on driving revenue growth and optimizing financial performance.
In this role you will:
- Lead strategic financial initiatives and problem-solving with a focus on data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics.
- Drive organizational growth by developing and implementing scalable financial solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Lead high-impact financial projects, overseeing the identification of benefits, costs, timelines, and key success metrics.
- Craft and execute strategic recommendations, ensuring detailed planning and seamless implementation.
- Define and manage project scope, ownership, and timelines; identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as necessary.
- Contribute to the creation of Board materials and support external investment processes.
- Foster strong stakeholder communication and engagement, ensuring alignment across key strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Operations & Supply Chain), Economics, Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Over 6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a similar field.
- At least 4 years of experience in optimizing business processes and managing strategic cross-functional projects.
- Strong skills in strategic financial planning and prioritization, with the ability to handle complex challenges and develop actionable solutions.
- Proven track record in defining, scoping, planning, and managing financial projects, including risk resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple financial projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a hypothesis-driven approach to achieving results.
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative financial analysis.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate key findings clearly and concisely.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing significant changes and ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Executives, Senior leaders, and cross-functional teams.
