Compensations: $70,000 - $80,000 + benefits and bonus

Job Function:

We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector to join our client’s team in North Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the fabrication and erection of structural steel projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications, using visual and non-destructive testing methods.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures to verify structural and procedural accuracy.
• Identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and document findings in detailed inspection reports.
• Oversee welder qualifications, ensure proper material handling, and maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues while upholding workplace safety and quality assurance initiatives.
