Sr. Project Engineer - Metals

Location: Pflugerville, TX

Reports To: Team Manager, Project Engineering

We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for a qualified person to provide support and service on EOS Additive Manufacturing machines in Pflugerville, Texas and Novi, Michigan. Your Mission/Job Functions:

•Lead and manage engineering projects related to metal additive manufacturing process chain, to ensure timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

•Be a team player and facilitate active knowledge management through proper documentation and internal knowledge transfer.

•Take ownership of customer-driven co-engineering projects and Additive Minds Turnkey projects.

•Serve as the product owner for the M300/M400 platform in North America. Gather and document customer requirements to optimize and improve existing EOS products and provide regional feedback to drive the development of new products.

•Identify clients requiring additional support and coordinate assistance through Additive Minds services and engineering projects.

•Perform benchmarks for prospective customers to demonstrate the technology by using state of the art machine and process features.

•Prepare build files and operate EOS metal machines.

•Participate in thought leadership initiatives, such as writing papers, publishing technical articles, delivering presentations, and representing the company at trade shows.

Your Talents/Qualifications:

•Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.

•At least 4 years of experience in laser powder bed additive manufacturing technologies.

•Experience with EOS metal M400 platforms is preferred.

•Background in engineering or support roles within metal material manufacturing techniques.

•Proficiency in software such as Magics, 3DXpert (or similar), SolidWorks, and MS Office.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

•Willingness to travel for business purposes

•US person status (US citizenship or permanent resident)
