We are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our client’s innovative team in Washington County, Rhode Island. This is a full time, permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and wiring schematics.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Perform receipt inspections to verify vendor-supplied materials align with purchase order requirements.
- Execute hydrostatic pressure testing on cable assemblies and connectors.
- Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and desktop electrical test equipment.
- Conduct electrical testing, including insulation resistance, dielectric withstanding voltage, and continuity checks per wiring schematics.
- Document test results and maintain accurate test records.
- Approve conforming products and reject non-conforming products, generating nonconformance reports as needed.
- Communicate inspection and test data effectively.
Requirements include but not limited to:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical inspection or quality functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CMM programming
- Ability to write reports and read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
Salary Range:
$60,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience)
