The Electrical Engineer III role involves designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems. This senior-level position requires applying mathematical and engineering principles, validating designs for reliability and safety, and conducting research on new technologies to innovate solutions.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight and leadership to junior members of the electrical design team, using experience and judgment to achieve design goals.
  • Create and complete advanced electrical system schematics and Bills of Materials for complex equipment involving strong chemicals.
  • Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems.
  • Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.
  • Conduct extensive testing and validation to ensure designs meet reliability, performance, and safety standards.
  • Research and study new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.
  • Design in compliance with industry standards (NEC, UL, NFPA, CE, SEMI, etc.).
  • Approve and initiate the purchase parts specification process, collaborating with the Materials team to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
  • Ensure all assemblies and panels adhere to best practices for design and manufacturability.


Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 9+ years of experience in electrical power systems design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software and design vaults.
  • Advanced knowledge of integrating electrical heaters, pumps, PLCs, computers, and controllers.
  • Advanced understanding of common engineering concepts, practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.
