The Role
As a Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimation, analyzing project documents, managing contractor submissions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure financial accuracy and control. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering cost-efficient solutions and supporting the project’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation:
- Review and analyze blueprints, plans, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Conduct research on labor, materials, production times, and site-specific costs.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimation.
- Coordinate with project teams on cost reporting and work progress.
Contract and Vendor Management:
- Negotiate contracts with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective agreements.
- Review contractor submissions and ensure alignment with project budgets.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare detailed cost reports and bids for stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and progress to ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
Value Engineering:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety standards.
Risk Management:
- Review project schedules to ensure alignment with cost projections and mitigate potential risks.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in estimation software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Procore.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator, RICS).
- Experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
