Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our tax compliance and planning efforts within the winery and agriculture sectors.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the tax compliance process, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals for audits and reviews
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
• Prepare and review income tax provisions and associated documentation
• Lead tax planning initiatives for the organization, focusing on winery and agricultural operations
  

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience with 1065 pass through entities, 1120 and 3115 partnerships
• Inventory cost - Target allocations (profit & Loss), Waterfall (transfer of wealth)
• Experience with one (or more) of the following industries - Wineries - Distilleries - Agriculture
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification is highly preferred
• Will consider EA
