Production Supervisor
Position Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves managing staff, coordinating production schedules, and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the production team to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Conduct training and development programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of production control and scheduling techniques.
- Familiarity with SAP software for production management.
- Understanding of P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) for equipment operation.
- Knowledge of water chemistry and water treatment processes is a plus.
- Experience with PLC and SCADA systems for automated production environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
