Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Diesel Mechanic at Hobbs Company Limited LLC in Reno, NV. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. This position comes with Union benefits. We are a drug free work place.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• DOT Annual Inspections
• Diesel engine repair and troubleshooting
• Chassis wiring troubleshooting and repair
• Repair of Medium and Heavy duty truck platforms
• Welding experience is prefered
• Completion of documentation in an accurate and timely manor
