• Manage the activities of the Maintenance Team for our manufacturing facility utilizing robotics and transfer/progressive press that will achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a leadership style that encourages a collaborative team environment, while expanding Maintenance Associates knowledge and continuously sustaining approaches to achieve production goals.
• Implement methods to improve productivity capabilities and solve operation problems.
• Administer Preventive Maintenance Programs, emergency repair of production equipment, and support facilities and production equipment changeover.
• Lead and coordinates activities of skilled and unskilled Associates engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the Plant.
• Provide leadership and constructive feedback for all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling, and corrective action when situations dictate.
• Contribute to Plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
• This role is part of the Plant Leadership Team and reports to the Plant Manager.

Success Factors:

• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in automotive industry.
• 8+ years of experience in maintenance leadership in automotive metals and assembly manufacturing environment; preferred.
• Technical knowledge of transfer and/or progressive press, robotic welding assembly and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of automotive equipment, preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written and communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership to mentor the Maintenance Team toward effective problem solving.
• Proven leadership strategic abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret financial and performance data.
• Proficient in MS Office, Preventive Maintenance Programs, ERP, etc.
