Job Summary
The IS Controls Analyst is responsible for directing various areas of IT compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley, CTPAT and NIST requirements and maintaining high level control of IT policies and procedures. This position works with the Internal Audit Department to help enforce requirements; works with product owners and developers of in-scope systems to implement and maintain controls and safeguards in a well-documented and repeatable manner; and ensures controls are executed and appropriate evidence is retained.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain documentation of controls to meet requirements of regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure tasks are documented and assigned to achieve compliance to controls.
- Assess maturity and effectiveness of controls.
- Track and report on completion of monthly and quarterly tasks.
- Ensure that IT policies and procedures are created and maintained to achieve compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate implementation of new or changed IT security policies and procedures.
- Coordinate IT response to information requests from Internal Audit, external auditors, and current or potential customers or business partners.
- Monitor security configurations for compliance with applicable control objectives.
- Duties and responsibilities may be assigned or changed from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working with internal and external business area management and their users
- Task management, problem resolution and people skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Access, Visio
- Working knowledge of and experience with IT Security and General Computing Controls
- Good communications skills with the ability to write, speak, and present to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational ethic to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Security and/or audit-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISA, etc. are a plus
Salary Range - $65,000 - $70,000/year ** This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand**
