We are currently seeking a LOCAL, qualified candidate with a direct client for a hybrid position near Eagan, MN.

Our client is looking for a Big Data Engineer for a 6-12 month contract with a high likelihood of extension and possibly full-time employment in the future. The start date is the beginning of January and the candidate must be currently located in the Minneapolis area and able to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week.

Our client is looking for a Big Data Engineer who has strong experience working in/with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and AWS to ensure performance, security, and scalability of data pipelines. Experience with architecting and implementing Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) processes, including Fivetran HVR and AWS Lambda functions, to ensure efficient and accurate data loading between systems is required. Proficient in Python programming, SQL, and data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow is required. The successful candidate will work on their Enterprise Big Data Ingestion Team and possess excellent communication and leadership skills and will be able to work in a team-oriented environment with resource and time constraints. Experience leading and mentoring team members and contributing to the development of technical standards and best practices is also required.
