We are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer for a position focused on Service Cloud and Experience Cloud development projects. This exciting fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Salesforce solutions that enhance customer service, streamline support processes, and deliver seamless experiences through customer and partner portals.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, primarily on the Service Cloud and Experience Cloud platforms. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, administrators, and other developers to ensure custom applications, integrations, and processes align with organizational goals and provide value to users.
Responsibilities:
- S alesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, including custom Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations.
- Service Cloud Customization: Customize and extend Service Cloud functionality to meet business needs, including case management, knowledge base, service processes, and automation (e.g., workflows, process builder, and flows).
- Experience Cloud Development: Design and implement Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions, including partner and customer portals, templates, and page layouts.
- Lightning Components: Develop and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components to provide a modern and user-friendly interface for Service Cloud and Experience Cloud applications.
- Automation & Integration: Implement automation processes using Apex, Flows, Process Builder, and other tools. Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write maintainable, efficient Apex code and customizations following Salesforce development best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration & Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders, Salesforce admins, and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct unit tests and troubleshooting to ensure application quality and reliability through thorough testing and code reviews.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for customizations, configurations, and integration workflows.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and improvements for existing Salesforce applications.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices to continuously improve the development process.
Required Qualifications
- Salesforce Developer Experience: Minimum 3+ years with a focus on Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Apex & Lightning: Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
- Service Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with case management, automation, knowledge management, and service process development in Service Cloud.
- Experience Cloud Expertise: Experience customizing partner and customer portals in Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Salesforce Integration: Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs or middleware.
- Salesforce Automation: Experience with Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flows, Workflow Rules).
- Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (required), Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred), Service Cloud or Experience Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Problem Solving & Debugging: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for Apex code and integration issues.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices for Salesforce development.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality solutions.
Preferred
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Design: Experience with complex Experience Cloud portal design and integrations.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development, sprints, and backlog management.
- API Integration: Experience working with RESTful and SOAP APIs for Salesforce integrations.
- Advanced Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant certifications are highly desirable.
- UI/UX Experience: Knowledge of UX/UI principles for building responsive interfaces in Salesforce.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $69 - $79/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
