Job Description:

Job Title: OpenSearch Software Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Mountain View, CA or Remote

Work Schedule: Hybrid, or Remote in Pacific timezone

Pay Rate: $60/hr to $63/hr on W2 and $65/hr to $73/hr on C2C

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Senior Software Engineer with 8 - 10+ years of experience
• Language - Python, JavaScript (Node.js) or Java
• **Expert in OpenSearch
• Other must have skills : JSON, REST, Microservices
• Plus : Query DSL, Logstash, Fluentd, Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenSearch Dashboards
• Good communication skills. Self-driven and self-motivated
• Engineering/administration experience with OpenSearch / ElasticSearch stack clusters in cloud environment
• Experience with OpenSearch / Elastic Stack cluster architecture, design, and deployment
• Experience with command line in a Linux environment.
• Experience using an automation/orchestration solution such Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, etc.
• Experience in data ingestion, transformation, and visualizations.
• Experience with data indexing concepts.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Experience in DevOps
• Experience converting logs into JSON for ingestion / transformation
