Job Title: Senior Compensation and Payroll Analyst, Americas region
Job Summary:
The Senior Compensation and Payroll Analyst is a key role responsible for executing and managing compensation and payroll operations across multiple entities within the Americas Region. This position will focus on benchmarking, compensation data management, survey data submissions, and supporting the administration of the company’s incentive and merit programs. Additionally, the role oversees payroll processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency, acting as a backup for payroll execution in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Benchmarking and Compensation Data Management:
- Conduct competitive internal and external benchmarking, analyzing pay trends and market data to support and inform compensation strategies. Coordinate survey submissions to ensure accurate data representation. Manage compensation data across entities, including those acquired through M&A, to maintain a cohesive and competitive pay structure.
- Support for Compensation Projects:
- Work closely with the compensation team to execute compensation operations, such as incentive and merit processes, job evaluations, and compensation review cycles. Build and maintain data models for compensation planning, supporting reporting and compliance within each cycle.
- Payroll Oversight & Compliance:
- Oversee payroll processes for US entities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, accuracy, and timeliness. Act as a backup for payroll execution, collaborating with Payroll Specialists to maintain consistency and resolve issues proactively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of compensation and payroll processes with organizational goals. Provide guidance on complex payroll matters, such as payroll tax compliance across US jurisdictions, to payroll specialist.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform comprehensive data analysis for both compensation and payroll, delivering quantitative and qualitative insights to inform strategic decision-making. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in all reports provided to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or certification in compensation preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of compensation and payroll experience, with expertise in benchmarking, compensation data management, and payroll compliance across multi-entity operations in the US (experience including LATAM countries preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in advanced Excel (e.g., formulas, equations, pivot tables) and proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems. Experience in data analysis and model-building to support compensation planning and reporting.
- Experience with survey submissions and analysis (e.g., Radford) and with supporting compensation projects for mergers and acquisitions.
