At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $58,000 and $69,000.

• Develops drawings for existing standard equipment and shop drawings for proprietary equipment.
• Performs design and drafting work for potential or new projects by gathering information on objectives and developing alternative designs, calculations, and schematics.
• Assists in modifying equipment or building design by working from broad concepts and filling in details necessary for actual implementation.
• Coordinates with suppliers of equipment once projects are assigned to resolve questions regarding standards, elevations, dimensions, etc.
• Ensures that all work design and changes meet food safety and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and all other company and regulatory guidelines.
• Is humble, inquisitive, patient, collaborative, innovative, results-oriented, and resilient - the DNA of a Leprino employee.

You Have at Least (Required Qualifications):

• Associates degree in CAD, Engineering, or Mechanical Graphics Technology (or similar field)
• Documented formal training in mechanical techniques and computer assisted design, specifically AutoCAD
• 2+ years work experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and schematic design (vs. architectural)
• Proficient computer knowledge, with familiarity or ability to learn SAP or other manufacturing computer systems

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Dairy/Cheese and/or other food manufacturing experience
• Experience with 3D modeling software (Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, Solidworks, Pro-E)
