Must Haves:
- Associate’s degree and no formal experience OR 2+ years IT Help Desk experience and no degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft’s Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and programs (Ex: Active Directory)
- Basic understanding of IT support tools (Ex: ServiceDesk Plus, IT glue, NinjaRMM), techniques, and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to travel as needed to perform job duties.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
Day to Day:
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to work on-site in Lansing, MI. This person should be able to travel within a 60-mile radius consistently to represent the IT department to provide solutions for internal hardware and software. This person will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all hardware across 5 different locations in Michigan which includes, but is not limited to: desktops, laptops, phones, tablets, printers, and cameras. This will also complete the installation of Microsoft Office as well as other internal applications to company devices. This position is most involved with hardware troubleshooting and configuration but requires skills involving software troubleshooting and installing applications.
