Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Design: Develop robust cloud architectures aligned with business objectives, leveraging GCP's comprehensive suite of services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, etc.).

Implementation: Oversee the migration and deployment of applications and infrastructure to GCP, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

DevOps Integration: Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps practices, automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to GCP environments, ensuring service availability and performance.

Security: Adhere to security best practices, implement security measures, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect GCP environments.

Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize cloud costs, utilizing GCP's pricing models and tools effectively.

Innovation: Stay updated on the latest GCP features and technologies, exploring new ways to leverage them for competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology

At least 4-5 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as an architect and managing team

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code (IaC), virtualization, and containerization

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and configuration management

Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control)

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good communication skills to interact with customer and across different team

Preferred Qualifications:

Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL

Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks

Strong communication and Analytical skills

Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams

Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
