Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Hagerstown, MD

Schedule: 35 hours per week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Pay: $20-$22 per hour

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant to support various departments by managing office operations, handling communications, and providing fiscal and event support. This role is in-office and reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route incoming calls, greet visitors, and manage office mail.
  • Assist with basic fiscal duties like invoicing, reconciling receipts, and managing purchase orders.
  • Support event and conference preparation, including name badges, materials, and registrations.
  • Handle publications, including orders and shipping of materials.
  • Maintain membership data, process payments, and assist with certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience or an associate's degree.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
