Gibson Stainless, a constantly growing B2B manufacturer of stainless steel conduit and fittings, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join its team. The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for our established customers and play a vital role in customer experience and maintaining our reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will have leadership in account management, a passion for helping others and building relationships, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations
  • Handle inbound calls and emails from customers professionally and efficiently
  • Receive and process customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
  • Proactively communicate between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products
  • Coordinate with other departments to address customer needs
  • Build rapport and establish trust with prospective and current customers
  • Prepare and deliver high-value job quotes based on project information
  • Follow up on quotes, ensuring our quotes are competitive and aligned with market conditions
  • Report and update department heads on high profile projects
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends
  • Generate reports on product sales to inform business decisions
  • Assist with general sales and warehouse duties as needed to support the team


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, customer service, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedication to attendance and promptness
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
