Firm Advice is conducting a search for an attorney who has experience drafting and negotiating contracts to assist a significant scientific nonprofit. This position offers the opportunity to advance beyond drafting and negotiating contracts and to work in virtually all areas of the organization, including grants, employment, patent, technology transfer, and nonprofit law.

Position will begin in February and run through July. There is potential for a great contractor to be hired by client company.

REQUIREMENTS

• JD and license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 3 to 5 plus years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor / procurement, and purchase / sales agreements.
• Experience working with universities, scientific, or nonprofit organizations a plus.
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and external contact constituents.
