SSD Alarm has an available position for Monitoring Center Specialist – Alarm Monitor to join our team in Anaheim. Various shifts - to include weekends and holidays. This is a professional environment with a stable company!
- Respond to residential and commercial alarm signals, based on established company policies and procedures, when triggered and alerted on computer
- Answer high-volume of phone calls, strong computer skills
- Respond to residential and commercial alarm signals, based on company policies and procedures, when triggered and alerted on computer monitor
- Dispatch security or emergency personnel, if applicable, to premises after receiving alarm signal
- Interact with customers, customer emergency contacts, and emergency dispatchers while responding to residential and/or business alarm signals
- Establish and maintain rapport during dispatch calls with fire, medical, and law enforcement agencies throughout the United States
- Understand and use correct interdepartmental procedures and policies when interfacing with other departments
- Great phone etiquette, comfortable speaking with clients on the phone
- Perform basic troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written skills required – able to handle a high call volume and excellent customer service
- Type a minimum of 40wpm
- Answer high-volume of phone calls
- Strong computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
