Construction Project Manager - Arlington, VA

Job Description:

We Search People is working with a renowned owner and developer in Arlington, VA. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all facets of their pre-development and development processes. This pivotal role demands a professional with at least 5 years of experience managing projects from inception to completion and a proven track record of excellence in the commercial real estate or construction sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage ground-up development projects from pre-development through construction and final delivery.

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to align with organizational objectives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and municipal entities.

• Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and quality to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.

• Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports and updates to senior leadership and investors.

• Ensure all phases of the project comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

• Facilitate decision-making, resolve issues, and proactively mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management, ideally with an owner/developer.

• Extensive experience in ground-up development and pre-development processes.

• Strong track record of successfully coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.

• Degree in Construction Management.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in project management software, tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
