Senior Clinical Trial Manager – Biopharma Company (MA-based)


Overview:

A clinical-stage biopharma company dedicated to developing treatments for autoimmune and rare diseases seeks an experienced Senior Clinical Trial Manager . The company focuses on innovative antibody discovery, emphasizing data-driven decisions and thoughtful risk-taking to bring differentiated medicines to patients. The role supports efficient and compliant execution of clinical studies in alignment with strategic goals.

This is a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA, requiring in-office attendance three days per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional clinical study teams, ensuring on-time and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Oversee external vendors, including RFP development and vendor oversight plans.
  • Manage clinical trial activities such as site budgets, contracts, timelines, and contingency planning.
  • Provide oversight for study start-up, management, and closeout, including final documentation and data archival.
  • Collaborate with investigators, key opinion leaders, and senior management on clinical progress.
  • Develop and implement training for study teams and facilitate Quality Assurance processes.
  • Mentor team members in study protocols, plans, and related clinical documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS in Health or Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in clinical trials management or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in project management tools.
  • Detail-oriented and adept at handling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
