Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Law Associate to join our prestigious team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working at an AmLaw 50/100 firm, with a focus on class action cases. This role demands strong legal knowledge, case management proficiency, and the ability to handle a high volume of complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support class action cases, including legal research, drafting motions, and discovery.
  • Coordinate with senior attorneys on case strategies and proceedings.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure timely submission of court documents.
  • Engage in client communications, keeping them informed of case progress.
  • Monitor deadlines and manage multiple cases effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and other support staff to ensure case preparation is thorough and efficient.
  • Provide legal insights and assistance on matters involving complex litigation.
  • Attend client meetings and hearings as needed.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Law Associate with a focus on class action cases.
  • Must have experience working in an AmLaw 50/100 firm.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent education is preferred.
