A super cool Workplace/TI design firm in East LA is hiring a Interior Design Sr. Project Manager to lead design projects to completion!

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing projects, ensuring they align with client agreements and are completed on time and within budget. This role requires significant client interaction, presentation skills, staff management and some business development to win new projects.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years in the interiors/architectural field.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of architectural and interior design, construction practices, and materials.
• Expertise in construction costs, feasibility studies, programming, and space requirements.
• Understanding of BOMA calculation concepts and relevant building codes (IBC, ADA, Title 24).
• Proficiency in preparing and managing contracts, proposals, work authorizations, and project schedules.
• Strong client interaction and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop design concepts, space plans, and working drawings in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in CAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite are a must.
• Capable of creating presentation materials and black-line hand sketches.
• This role is fully in-office so commuting to East LA 5 days a week is required.
• Some travel to job sites may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring team coordination and communication.
• Manage project costs and professional design fees.
• Develop corrective strategies for project issues.
• Negotiate and coordinate with consultants.
• Support business development efforts and maintain client relationships.
