Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - on site

Duration: 7 month contract

Pay Rate: $45-50/hour, weekly pay every Friday. Time and a half rate for overtime hours worked.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a project manager working on federal, industrial, or commercial building construction projects
• Proficiency in MS Office
• OSHA 30 Certification

Pluses:

• Civil Engineering and/or federal/government experience
• Ground-up construction experience

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join one of their construction clients in Pittsburgh, PA. The candidate will be in responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the project and will be onsite for the duration of the projects. This includes implementation of the project plans as well as project oversight and coordination with the project team. This position requires a close working relationship with the Project Manager and Site Safety & Health Officer.

Responsibilities:

• On-site implementation and coordination of the project plans per the SOW

• Schedule and execute all phases of construction

• Ability to lead regular internal and external tailgate meetings including daily discussions on project health and safety

• Preparation of daily reports with Project Manager and Site Safety & Health Officer

• Review and processing of project submittals

• Active role in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with all on site staff

• Coordination with on-site subs
