Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel, ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively, maintaining workflow and minimizing delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings, ensuring a proactive approach to safety and risk management.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry (commercial or residential).
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from ground-up to completion.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of workers.
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving conflicts and maintaining project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• OSHA certifications and other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience with high-end commercial or multi-family residential projects is a bonus.
