Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee complex design projects from conception to completion.
- Utilize advanced engineering principles to develop, analyze, and enhance design solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and other engineers.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Engage in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field); Master’s preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 8+ years of experience in structural design engineering, with a proven track record of leading projects.
- Ability to work as a team and alone when necessary.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, including AASHTO, GDOT, and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
