Description
The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for supporting operations in managing the purchase, identification, and issuance of parts, as well as controlling inventory across multiple field locations. This role also includes the handling of all purchase order receipt documentation and inventory records to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Requirements
Functional Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management : Work closely with operations to anticipate and meet inventory needs, ensuring all warehouse and field locations are properly stocked.
- Order Processing : Process purchase orders, track order status, and investigate issues as needed. Receive and validate delivered items against purchase orders.
- Receiving & Stocking : Receive, unpack, and distribute goods; re-stock inventory and label shelves as necessary. Ensure all received items are stored and organized efficiently.
- Invoice & Documentation Management : Process and/or approve invoices for payment and assist with reconciling purchase orders. Maintain accurate inventory records and purchase order receipts.
- Return Management : Process returns, and handle returns documentation, following established procedures.
- Inventory Audits : Perform quarterly inventory counts on materials, equipment, and hardware supplies. Report discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Equipment Core Management : Manage the return of equipment cores to appropriate suppliers for credits.
- Shipping & Receiving : Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping. Load and unload shipments using forklifts and manual equipment.
- Communication : Maintain effective communication with vendors, area managers, and technicians. Provide prompt responses to requests and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
- Safety & Cleanliness : Maintain clean and safe work environments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and PPE standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and equipment handling.
- Experience with Cat 2.0 & Ariel equipment is a plus.
- Proficient in forklift operation and inventory control systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs or more) and handle physical tasks as required.
- Experience in using computer systems for inventory management, order processing, and documentation.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
Additional Skills :
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics.
- Experience with cycle counting, stock replenishment, and inventory audits.
- Capable of performing tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high accuracy in inventory tracking.
Preferred :
- Forklift experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and regulations.
