Title: Senior Project Manager


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, from initial planning through to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and design teams to ensure project designs meet specifications and comply with local codes and regulations.

Budget Management:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage the project budget, ensuring the project remains on or under budget.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Review and approve project invoices and change orders, ensuring all financial aspects are documented accurately.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure that the construction process adheres to quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and internal team members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular updates and transparent communication throughout the project.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive work environment.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on project status, timelines, and budget.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that their expectations are met.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on multifamily construction.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale multifamily projects, including new construction and renovations.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
