Job Summary
Growing employment law firm in the Los Angeles area, considered a powerhouse in the field of plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation, seeks a highly-qualified case manager to join its expanding team. The firm has a robust caseload, in federal and state courts, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Focusing on the prosecution of consumer and employment class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters. The firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers in California.
The Case Manager will have frequent client contact and should have experience with medical records review and analysis. The Case Manager will assist clients with medical providers, prepare files to submit demand letters and provide excellent client service. Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all our clients’ needs.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Initiating and maintaining client contact on a regular basis
- Fully investigate each case, gathering, and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.
- Schedule and calendar appointments, explain procedures and related documentation to clients.
- Continuously monitor case status, and recommendations
- Request records on an ongoing basis, review and analyze records
- Organize and maintain case files, preparing files to be submitted
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Manage a large volume of cases at a time.
- Litify or Salesforce Experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.
- Legal: 5 years (Required)
- Case Management: 5 years (Required)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
