We are seeking a highly motivated insurance professional to join our sales team. This individual will exhibit a desire to serve our customers with a best-in-class, value-driven insurance product. Successful individuals will have a strong aptitude for relationship management and conflict resolution. This is a highly visible position requiring significant business relations. The ideal candidate will add to and bolster DMC’s unique culture – a workplace built on enthusiasm, entrepreneurship, integrity, communication, proactive problem solving, and a genuine passion for helping our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the management of a group of Brokers to reach their highest level of success with DMC.
- Educate Brokers to understand the DMC model and push them to meet goals to mutually benefit both parties.
- Participate in sales presentations to both Brokers and prospective customers.
- Create, build and manage a sales pipeline and tracking activities through various stages of the sales funnel.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of competition including their products and service offerings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business.
- 3 years or more experience with insurance or consultative selling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and report on data, making it actionable.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment, prioritize critical tasks, communicate with management on status, and deliver on objectives in a timely fashion.
- Strong business acumen.
- Available to travel up to 50% of the time and work effectively from remote locations.
