Job Description

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Novi, MI

Industry: Engineering Plastics

Working Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation: $150K+ (DOE)


Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer (TPEE) market, including competitor landscape and emerging trends.
  • Identify and qualify leads, conduct research on potential accounts, and engage in cold calling to establish relationships.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly for the company's TPEE product, PELPRENE .
  • Drive market development for Thermoplastic Recyclable Resin (TPRR) and generate sales and profits with new clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas, consistently closing deals and contributing to team success.
  • Partner with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Provide ongoing account management, including support and follow-ups to foster long-term partnerships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the plastics materials industry, preferably within TPEE or thermoplastic elastomer products.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and achieving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, lead generation techniques, and client acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
