Overview
Seeking a Senior Business Development Executive for the Chicago market. The Senior Business Development Executive will execute business marketing strategies, contact existing and potential brokers, identify their needs, and educate them on captive solutions. Develop and facilitate the proposal process for brokers, including pricing indication development and client presentations.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain ongoing broker relationships
- Create and execute a regional sales plan to support sales goals
- Manage and increase membership in assigned accounts
- Responsible for premium growth through existing renewals and new business development
- Call prospective customers, review and assess customer needs, and create a customer relationship
- Mastery of cost containment programs and their application for consultants and prospective employers
- Prepare marketing information for customers
- Formulate indication estimates and proposals with team members and functional groups using standard models
- Develop strong relationships with members of the internal underwriting, market development, and marketing teams
Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits and/or self-funded medical plan
- 3+ years of experience supporting the development of proposals to brokers
- Advanced knowledge of the Chicago insurance market
- Bachelor’s degree
