Job Description

The Sales Agent must possess a sense of urgency, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and interact well with the Agency staff and management staff. The candidate must maintain business relationships with customers and maintain confidentiality of clients as well as work independently as well as part of a team. Please note that this is not a remote position, and the candidate may be required to work in our home office as decided by management.


COMPETENCIES:


Profitably sell and service Flood insurance policies nationwide. A results oriented, self-motivated and disciplined person with excellent communication skills required for success in this role. Important to have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Hold self and others accountable for impact

on profitability by developing and maintaining successful client relationships.


ACCOUNTABILITIES/JOB DUTIES:


? Utilizing CRM, AMS360 and Image Right on a daily basis to track client contacts, enter daily work and updating client information


? Write and sell new flood policies nationwide on behalf of the company and other clients with a sense of urgency


? Producing Letters, maintaining and updating current database information, creating new database information for new business


? Processing endorsements and cancellations of flood policies for in house agency


? Agency Queue- Receiving phone calls for new business quotes and servicing existing insured’s for in house agency


? Sales Agent will have superior product knowledge including a thorough understanding of company on-line proprietary sales and service systems.


? Develop strong long-term relationships to achieve desired production and profitability results by developing individual performance objectives and commitments for performance objectives for each agent-partner and/or private label MGA/Carrier.




REQUIREMENTS:

? 220- agent license required

? Bachelor’s degree highly desirable

? 3 years insurance industry experience

? 3 years flood insurance experience desirable

? Proficient with MS Office

? CRM/AMS360/ImageRight experience helpful

? Candidate must possess a sense of urgency, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, interact well with all levels of company personnel, develop and maintain business

relationships with insurance carriers and customers, maintain confidentiality of clients’ records, have the ability to handle changing priorities, the ability prioritize and organize, and work independently as well as part of a team.
