Must Haves:
- 3+ years of prior outside sales experience - ideally in B2B, door to door, relationship building, or selling a service
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
- Resilient and persistent in the face of frequent rejection, passion for sales with a drive to succeed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Use of own vehicle required, reimbursement for gasoline

Day-to-Day:
Insight Global’s client is seeking Sales Representatives for a direct hire opportunity in Suffern, NY. Our client partners with insurance companies, property managers and owners, plumbers, and brokers nationwide to provide residential and commercial water and fire damage restoration services related to insurance claims. The Sales Representative will be on the road daily from 9a - 5p traveling to various business offices to introduce services and build relationships with the goal to become the primary servicer for claims. The Sales Representative needs to be located in the Suffern, NY area and will cover a designated territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively approach and engage with potential customers at their business to sell products and services
- Provide information about product features, benefits, and pricing to customers in a personable and persuasive manner
- Answer customer questions, address concerns, and overcome objections to close sales
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks
- Develop and sustain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with the broader sales team to share best practices and support overall sales goals
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year + sales commission
