We are seeking a Business Development Manager to focus exclusively on identifying, prospecting, and securing new contracts with national commercial and non-commercial foodservice accounts. In this high-impact role, you will spearhead efforts to expand our footprint, collaborating with key decision-makers to deliver tailored solutions and drive growth. Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new food service accounts, including QSR chains (e.g., Panera, Flower Child, Pura Vida), non-commercial accounts (e.g., colleges/universities, corporate campuses), and travel/cruise channels.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to potential partners, positioning the brand as a supply chain solution for grains, beans, oils, and spices.
  • Leverage an analytical approach to identify opportunities within the less than 1% penetrated addressable market.
  • Manage and collaborate with broker partner to expand reach and drive broker-supported sales
  • Work closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with product priorities and operational capacities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team.


Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in food service, QSR, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with supply chain solutions and pantry products (e.g., grains, beans, oils, spices) preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience pitching to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market trends to inform strategies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Mission-driven with a passion for sustainability and regenerative agriculture.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • 25-50% travel required


This role requires candidates to follow a hybrid 1-3 days per week in the Philadelphia HQ office model when not traveling.
