Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer with experience in EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and management of electrical projects from conception through completion. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Design & Development: Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Project Management: Oversee electrical projects from initial concept through final implementation, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), technical specifications, and project reports.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet relevant codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure project integration.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design and implementation issues.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients and vendors to clarify project requirements and manage expectations.
- Travel: Up to 25%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial automation, control systems, and PLC programming.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards.
