This Production Supervisor, reporting to the Production Manager, will work with both the meat and cheese departments to ensure optimal productivity levels. We are seeking a person who is commitment to our company values of Dedication, Teamwork and Commitment to Growth.

• Adjusting of employees to keep production running efficiently.
• Attendance and Employee tracking
• Entry and distribution of specialized reports to all levels of Lipari Employees
• Track all disciplinary actions to ensure they are properly communicated to all concerned parties
• Other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledgeable in production equipment and packaging types such as slicers, dicers, flow wrappers, vertical baggers, vacuum packed and gas-flushed products for both retail and food service as well as a variety of coding applications for lot tracking and traceability.
• Familiarity with Sealed Air, Cryovac, Multivac, Marchant, Urschel, Weber, BW Flex Systems and IMA Ilipack preferred.
• Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, SQF, BRC or other GFSI standards, FDA, USDA and local and state requirements as they pertain to the food industry.
• Ability to LEAD and supervise a staff of 30-60 employees in a fast-paced, food production environment. Expected to demonstrate:

• Ability to execute tasks through others and manage to a satisfactory outcome
• Confrontation and de-escalating situations as they arise
• Ability to enforce and maintain sanitary conditions
• Six sigma or LEAN manufacturing experience a plus
