Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Front Desk Assistant to join a client in Raleigh, NC. This position will be fully on-site M-F from 7:30am-1:30pm. This is a position is a 2 month contract with the possibility to extend.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
  • Admit patients that are being dropped off for boarding, grooming, surgery and other procedures
  • Fill prescriptions as requested
  • Respond to text messages as well as phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records.
  • Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, inventory management, and faxing.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Provide basic information about services, procedures, and policies to clients.
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, clinic management software).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
