Day to Day:
Our customer is looking for a team of 5 Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support their new site build out in the Raleigh-Durham area. These individuals will be apart of a CQV turnover and set to work (STW) maintenance team. The technicians will ensure each Direct Impact System is safely energized and readied for Commissioning and Qualification post Mechanical Completion.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with STW Teams to execute STW protocols designed to safely energize Direct Impact Systems.
- Prepare resources in time for STW execution per the project schedule.
- Participate in Mechanical Completion walkdowns to prepare for STW execution.
- Understand and follow all program documents and project safety requirements. Adhere to all safety requirements and follow safe work practices. Set and maintain the highest safety standard.
- Support the coordination of STW activities with CQV Area/System leads. Avoid STW activities impacting Commissioning and Qualification activities.
- Document STW activities per project GDP requirements and file completed STW protocols as agreed.
- Identify and document punchlist items per the Punchlist Project Instruction. Facilitate the closure of punchlist items that are identified during STW activities.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years industrial/mechanical experience
- Experience working with, and energizing, live utility systems such as boilers, chillers, hvac units, generators, coolers
- Experience with liaising with other departments and leads
- Experience working with industrial control systems - similar to Delta V
- Plusses:
- Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
- Ability to independently walk systems per approved drawings
- OSHA Certifications
- Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
- Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
